About

Chris Eaton - Principal

I started dancing at the age 16 with Wigan’s Tom Moss. I took all my medal tests in Ballroom, Latin American, Sequence & Disco. I also used to help on classes (where I met my husband Derek) I stopped dancing for a number of years whilst I raised my two sons but, of course, I missed my dancing terribly!

Chris and Derek

I returned to dancing once again, picking up where I left off and eventually fulfilling my dream of becoming a qualified teacher of dance. With over 40 years experience. Taught for Tom Moss MBE, Schools, Age UK and other organisations. Experienced in many forms of dancing, including Ballroom, Latin American, Argentine Tango, Rock n Roll, DanceFit and more. Wedding dance choreographer, socials, holidays and cruise ship teacher and host.

Frequently Asked Questions

A. Wear whatever you feel comfortable in, and none restrictive. You don’t need to buy dance shoes to start with, although the suede soles on these will definitely improve your dancing, ordinary leather soled shoes will be fine, try to avoid trainers and rubber soles as these stick to the floor and make it difficult to dance.

A. If you have never danced before, then come along to the absolute beginners, you will learn the basics to enable you to get around the dance floor. If you have done some Ballroom and Latin American dancing before, then try our Improvers class. Learn some new routines, and try some sequence dances in addition to your Ballroom and Latin.
